Administrative Assistant
Gaby joined the office in 2013, after a 16-year career with the Executive Office for Immigration Review, known to most people as Immigration Court. As a Legal Assistant with the court, Gaby worked directly with several judges, with duties ranging from maintaining court calendars to assisting judges prepare final decisions and orders. She also trained new legal assistants. Gaby has worked with the immigration courts in San Diego and Los Angeles, and even spent some time as the sole legal assistant for the Honolulu court.

In addition to her extensive experience with the immigration court, Gaby was also an Administrative Assistant with the Office of the State Public Defender in Miles City, Montana. While there, Gaby maintained case files and electronic databases, assisted attorneys collect information for cases, prepared legal documents and served as Indigence Determination Specialist.

If you have been to our office or called, then chances are you have met Gaby. In addition to greeting our clients, Gaby is the person who makes sure everything in the office runs smoothly. Gaby creates and maintains files, reviews and inputs all incoming mail, maintains our attorneys' calendars, coordinates discovery requests, processes bills and statements, translates legal documents and makes sure that the office has everything needed to provide the best service we can for our clients.
Gaby is fluent in Spanish, and is a Notary Public.
